I was really looking forward to this restaurant and drove 30 mins just to get very disappointed. The food was not great at all, hot dog had cold cheese, and some some ham that looked like it was warm up on a dirty grill full of burned stuff, the empanada was dripping in oil and it tasted like old reused oil, arepa was also full of burned stuff from the grill, I was confused with the tequeños as they were just warm and the cheese inside was room temperature so I’m not sure if they fried it or just microwave warm up. We were the only customers in there, and the employees made it really uncomfortable, no music or nothing besides the employee talking on the phone very loud about her great grand father and her aunt family drama 🤣 we didn’t finish eating and left, $47 to the trash, really expensive
The arepas were good, and the cilantro sauce was absolutely amazing a standout! Pricing felt fair given the generous portions of meat and ingredients. It’s a large space, and I arrived before noon, so service was quick and efficient. The staff member at the counter was friendly and polite throughout. The one downside was that the floors seemed sticky and could use some attention a bit unexpected for an otherwise nice spot. Overall, a solid experience with great sauce and good service!
These were not the type of arepas I thought they would be, were more like regular gorditas. Very pricey for the size and amount of meat and topping you get. They were out of about half the menu when we went. Was decently seasoned at least, so flavor is pretty good.
